Back from Ages of Dark
Blackouts are boring. Especially if they last 13½ hours. And especially if those 13½ hours happen to be the ones you're awake in. Not to mention the frustration over looming project deadlines, while you can do nothing but twiddle your thumbs. Never mind stuff thawing in the freezer, your milk going sour, and your toes growing icy cold.
Anyway, thanks to PGE for restoring my power - as the last block in town, but still. Unfortunately, my UPS doesn't last for 13½ hours, so if anyone wondered where their site (or my humble online presence) went, this morning, this would be the explanation.

It was a wee bit chilly, yes. I didn't read anything not related to work, but I did break out my draftsman kit to do a little design work on my imaginary if-I-won-a-million residence project. It seemed like a good time to play - and it kept me from going cuckoo, at least. :o)
